Not many of you will have heard this before and we'll admit we
only stumbled upon its greatness recently ourselves on finding a
compilation called 'Christmas Through The Years' (released in 1997
but available almost everywhere we looked) by the great man
himself. Louis Armstrong
certainly had a unique voice and when it is twinned with those
brash brass dashes it makes for an intoxicating listen. Taking his
sound to Christmas must have been a easy decision and lucky for us
he did because 'Zat You, Santa
Claus' is a rip-roaring success. In the process Armstrong gives
Christmas music something that it often leaves behind, namely a
pair of balls. This'll kick start your Christmas parties with
aplomb.
