Song of The Day: Glen Campbell - Christmas Is For Children

Glen Campbell may well have been stating the obvious on his
Sammy Cahn penned 1968 hit 'Christmas Is For Children' but there is
still so much to love. For one Campbell dispensed with the sound
that served him so well throughout his career, so instead of a
country lament we get a pillow filled with soft pop. The
instrumentation is particularly swoonsome and lush with background
orchestration and the tug of an acoustic guitar.
