Connie Talbot Christmas Songs & Music

Pint sized singer Connie Talbot shot to fame when she appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2007. Her pure, bell-like voice and childhood innocence makes her a perfect candidate for Christmas music, with holiday themed albums making up a large proportion of her output.

Connie Talbot’s Christmas Album

2011: Connie Talbot’s Christmas Album

Following the success of her 2007 debut album Over the Rainbow, Connie Talbot released her first Christmas themed album the following year. Talbot recorded her vocals in her bedroom studio in the UK, with her big band and orchestral accompaniments recorded in other locations worldwide. On the more modern tracks like Jingle Bell Rock and Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Talbot is accompanied by the Laurence Cottle Big Band, whilst more traditional carols like Do You Hear What I Hear? come with full orchestral accompaniment. Talbot’s eight-year-old voice needs room to grow and is sometimes overwhelmed by the jazz arrangements, though her renditions of more classical works like Ave Maria are simply amazing.

Connie Talbot’s Holiday Magic

2009: Connie Talbot’s Holiday Magic

In 2009, Cannie Talbot was named the child ambassador for US charity Toys for Tots; an organization providing Christmas gifts for under-privelidged children. As a result, a portion of Talbot’s second Christmas album in as many years was donated to the charity. Holiday Magic features a rerecording of many of the songs from her first Christmas album, with new tracks like It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas thrown in.
