Carols Sing
Year: 1990
Written By: Martha Puckett, Paul Puckett
Michael W. Smith
recorded 'Carols Sing' for his 1998 album 'Christmastime' and while
his vocals do not feature he was responsible for the choral and
musical arrangements. The carol was written 8 years earlier by
Martha and Paul Puckett and the pair must have taken great pride in
the attention to detail that Smith affords the choral twists and
turns. This is such a fine contemporary carol and Smith's wonderful
rendition will take some beating.
Carols Sing Lyrics
Carols sing to the King
Jesus Christ our Saviour
Born this day, angels say
In a lowly manger
He came down to the earth
Bringing us new birth
Carols sing to the King
Jesus Christ our Saviour
Tidings bring! Hail the King!
Shepherds did adore Him
From afar, by the star
Wise men sought and found Him
Son of God, Son of Man
All in all I see
Carols raise His name praise
He shall reign eternally
Carols sing to the King
Jesus Christ our Saviour
