Andy Williams proved yet again that he was one of the voices of Christmas on his second festive outing 'Merry Christmas'. The album was released in 1965 and contained several new songs, including the C. Smith written 'Christmas Holiday'. 'Christmas Holiday' boasted a lavish production with Williams giving a particularly euphoric vocal performance.

A completely different 'Christmas Holiday' was recorded by teen heartthrob Frankie Avalon for his 1962 LP 'Frankie Avalon's Christmas Album'. It was a pretty nice affair with plenty of strings bolstering Avalon's knee weakening voice.
