Christmas Is Here To Stay
Year: 1970
Written By: Bill Angelos, Buz Kohan
Bing Crosby recorded
the jaunty 'Christmas Is Here To Stay!' in 1970 and although not
released as a single it was included as the closing track on the
(now long since deleted LP - now packaged as 'Bing Crosby Christmas
Album') 'A Time To Be Jolly' album. Despite appearing on several
Bing compilations over the years it remains a forgotten gem from
the master of December festivities. Much of the joy comes from the
musical accompaniment provided by the Les Brown Orchestra and the
backing voices provided by the Jack Halloran Singers. And Bing
certainly commits to his parts with his usual high-spirited
charm.
