Disney Christmas Songs
The Disney brand has been a part of most of our lives for as
long as we can remember. We all have fond memories watching holiday
favourites such as, 'Mickey's Christmas Carol', growing up. Disney
has recorded many holiday songs over the years which were many
people's first experience with these wonderful Christmas songs.
One of the most popular Disney features was the video, 'Disney
Sing-A-Long Songs - A Very Merry Christmas', which was a
compilation of different holiday songs sung by the Disney
characters. This video was originally released in 1988, with
updated versions released in the years following. The songs were
made to be followed along by having the lyrics visible on the
television screen. Popular children's songs on this video include,
Winnie The Pooh's Jingle Bells", "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer",
"All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth", "Here Comes Santa
Clause" and "Up On The House Top". The video also included
traditional holiday favourites such as, "It's Beginning To Look A
Lot Like Christmas", "Deck The Halls", "Joy To The World", "Let It
Snow", "Winter Wonderland" and "Silent Night". In 1993, another
Disney feature was released that followed the same style. 'Disney
Sing-A-Long Songs - The Twelve Days of Christmas', contained both
classic Christmas songs such as, "The Twelve Days of Christmas",
"Deck The Halls", "Jingle Bells" and "O Christmas Tree", as well as
incorporating original songs like, "Snow Ho Ho", "Hip Hop Noël",
"He Delivers" and "I'd Like To Have An Elephant For Christmas".
Disney has released many Christmas albums such as, 'Disney's
Family Christmas', which has holiday classics as well as songs
like, "The Santa Wrap", "The Science Of The Season", and "Angel
Time". Disney has also released albums from the Disney Princesses
titled, 'Disney's Princess Christmas Album', containing traditional
carols as well as original Disney songs such as, "I'm Giving Love
For Christmas", "Ariel's Christmas Island", and "Christmas With My
Prince". Some other Disney holiday albums include, 'Disney Presents
a Family Christmas', 'Disney Karaoke: Christmas', 'Disney Christmas
Favorites - Volume 1 and 2', 'Disneymania Presents: Wow!
Christmas', plus many more albums which are a mix of traditional
Christmas carols and original Disney songs.
