Hip Christmas Songs
Although Christmas time is about good will towards men
and hanging your stockings, the holidays can also be cool. Hip
Christmas songs are a great way to show your guests that you are
still 'with it'.
Many famous artists have recorded their own Christmas
songs. Some of these artists are even cool. I think everyone can
agree that Stevie Wonder's soulful version of "What Christmas Means
To Me" tops the cool charts, and the same goes for Frank Sinatra's
version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". Playing these
are sure to give you points for a cool party. Other hip Christmas
songs songs include, "Blue Christmas," by Elvis Presley, Louis
Armstrong`s "Cool Yule", and Judy Garland`s recording of "Have
Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".
If it is rock and roll you are after, why not play
the very hip song, "Merry Christmas Baby" by the boss, Bruce
Springsteen. Band, U2 have also recorded a very cool Christmas song
called, "Baby Please Come Home". Other hip rockin' songs include,
The Ramones' "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)",
Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime", Johnny Cash's "Little
Drummer Boy" and Tom Petty's "Christmas All Over Again".
Impress you friends this holiday season by
incorporating hip Christmas songs into your holiday music play
list.
